Wednesday Women: Samantha Marsh by Michaela Homer

Michaela Homer's New Adult heroine Samantha Marsh is in the Wednesday Women spotlight this week! Thank you for visiting!

Synopsis:  Can you learn to forget?

Samantha Marsh is plagued by nightmares she can’t understand with dark visions of a past she suspects may be her own. When she moves into a new co-ed house, she is drawn to the handsome but aloof Nathan. The housemates welcome in Sam but all withhold their own secrets from her which she knows she needs to unravel to truly understand Nathan. But her past is destined to torment her. Can she find the strength to face her fear?
Sam was put into a loving foster home when she turned 6 years old, however she is unable to escape her ghosts that haunt her sleep. When she moves to Rainbow Springs and starts college, Sam hopes that the past will stay where it belongs, but we all know we can never outrun our monsters until we face them head on. Forced to leave her dorm because her roommate gets sick of being woken up by her screaming, Sam moves to a shared co-ed house where she has a small room, downstairs, off the kitchen away from everyone else. It is here that she meets the handsome, yet distant Nathan and his friends Ben, Carrie and Mandy.

When the source of Sam's pain is released from prison and manages to find and kidnap her, it takes deep strength, good friends, a patient therapist, caring parents and a deep love that is built on shared understanding to help them overcome it all.
I love Sam’s character because despite it all, she remains focused on getting better, making good friends and living her life to the full.
Author bio: I live in the beautiful country of New Zealand with my very understanding husband, two children, two cats, and a chocolate Labrador.

Between obsessively reading, I love to write romantic stories.  My main passion is writing books about young adult love. This can emotional at times but I believe that these stories need to be told. I love to write stories about characters based on emotional struggles and how despite these, love can overcome all. After all I believe my characters deserve their happily ever afters...
